Synopsis
Nine year old Iraqi refugee Mohamed dreams to be a regular kid – instead he is a reluctant shoecleaner working the busy streets of Amman to support his family and earn enough money to buy his widowed mother's medicine and send his young sister Reem to school.
About the film
My Name is Mohamed is the result of Human Film's cross border film academy initiative. The film was made in Jordan with the aim of connecting emerging filmmakers from countries accross the Middle East to inspire future collaborations in an effort to encourage understanding through story telling.
