Mohamed Al-Daradji
At the age of 15 he studied Theatre Directing at the Fine Art Institute in Baghdad.
When he moved to Europe he continued his studies at the Media Academy in
Hilversem, Holland. He specialized in Camera and after completing his course
he worked for a variety of media production companies as a cameraman. Companies
such as Castel Media and RTV Oost employed him for three years. His passion
for cinema led him to join a Master of the Arts Course in Cinematography
at the Leeds Metropolitan University, The Northern Film School. Predominantly
a Director of Photography, Mohamed has shot numerous short films, documentaries
and music videos. His first feature film
"Ahlaam"
which he directed and produced along with its associated documentary
"Shooting
in Iraq", are currently both on the festival circuit
